6. Warning from the Holy Souls in Purgatory

Austrian Mystic Maria Simma was very traditional in the beliefs and practice of the Catholic faith–and these views, she stated, was because of what the ‘holy souls’ had taught her. For instance, she was very much against the reception of Communion in the hand. According to her, the holy souls taught her that receiving Communion in the hand was offensive to God, and moreover that the Bishops who had pushed for this practice in their dioceses had committed a grave sacrilege, and would have to pay dearly for this in Purgatory. In fact, the holy souls had allegedly told of one certain Bishop who will remain in Purgatory until the end of the world, apparently for this very reason. She also stated that there is another bishop who is going to have to stay in Purgatory until the permission for Communion in the hand in his diocese is rescinded.

Now imagine all the bishops and priests who have been in purgatory since 1970s and will be till the end of time, because they allowed Communion in the hand in their dioceses and parishes. How much worst will be the punishment of those bishops and priests who denied the faithful to receive on the tongue.

In 1976, shortly before his death, Cardinal Julius Döpfner, acknowledged his mistake by stating: “Had I known that through Communion in the hand so much lack of reverence was to be practiced, I would have never spoken for it… Today one goes to Holy Communion like one took holy water in the past. For two years, I fought for Communion in the hand. Now that I have seen the results, I would never again do it. But now, I know of no way to rescind what has occurred. Get rid of Communion in the hand!”

Let us pray for the pope, bishops and priests to stop this abominable practice in their dioceses and parishes.
